How I Decided On My Business Web Hosting Service

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Just couple of months ago, when I wanted to shift my web hosting account to another low cost, good and affordable business web hosting service, my research began. By the way, I am a research freak and wont spend even a single $ if I don’t get the true worth out of it.

Basically I was looking for something that will allow me to host unlimited site in case I decide to publish numerous websites for Adsense (a feature that later on I compromised on, but for a very good reason).

The trend now a days is to offer huge web space with unlimited domain hosting. Most of them have priced them in the range of $9.95 to $12.95 per month. Hostgator is leading this segment.

The shortfall is apart from the above cost, you end up spending additional on other MUST HAVE services like an auto responder. A quality auto responder service (Aweber is the Best so far) will cost another $19.95 per month. That makes your total cost on web hosting to around $30 per month.

So now I wanted an hosting service that would provide me with an auto responder also and cost me less then $30. I continued my hunt.

That’s when I found about Thirdsphere hosting. Thirdsphere has a complete automation system with a built in Affiliate Management System, Auto responder, Sales Management System which was an added feature. Why? Because if I am going to have a website, I may consider selling my own products too. I almost narrowed on Thirdsphere. Now the criteria was cost. At $24.95 per month, they were well within my budget considering I don’t have to pay extra for an auto responder system.

But wait… How many domains they say do they host? Well its just 1 domain which is bad. What If I have to host many other Niche sites for adsense and other revenue generating options? Thirdsphere lost on that.

And my quest continued. And guess what… it paid.

I came across UMC. I have got the best of benefits any web host could offer and more.

I am not going through the features and services here but I’ll tell you in brief, what are the thing that made a hard nut professional like me go for UMC:

  • Plenty of Domains to Host for (Nothing worth mentioning, many host gives you that nowadays)
  • List Management System with Unlimited Professional Auto responders (For As many Niches as I want)
  • A Complete Affiliate Management System including 1 tier and 2 tier flexible commission setup
  • RSS management and RSS Autoresponders (Absolutely MUST service for Web 2.0 websites)
  • Absolute Flexibility
  • Complete Membership Management (Setup Free as well as Paid Membership Areas)
  • Ad Tracking Services to find what’s making me money and what’s not… (This one is Huge)
  • Customer support system to properly record and organize visitor queries…(Guess what Now even I have a ‘Ticket’ based customer Support System. Isn’t that cool?)
  • A Multi Page Website with Pre Loaded Newsletter that helps me build my list and follow up with my prospects. (don’t belive me? Have a look here http://easybusiness.and-allied.info )
  • The Price was the major surprise. It is only $19.95 per month.

And yes now my clients too are happy with UMC.

OK. Now here comes the part where you can share more light on my review on good business web hosting service provider. Let me know if there is any thing like UMC on the net that can beat these features or even come close to it. I want to study and review that site too.

Once you have your adsense account approved, you can download their Free Monthly Niche Targeted, ADSENSE ENABLED website every month. This service is absolutely free of cost to you. However you will still require a web hosting account to host your adsense enabled niche websites. I have posted earlier on this blog about choosing a good business web hosting service provider.
